A fully functioning band program is not something that is provided for by Tax Funding alone.  The band directors are investing as many or more hours every week than any other school program, including Athletics.  Without the hours and resources volunteered by band parents, the Klein Collins Band "experience" would not be possible.   The band may be the one single thing that makes school "worth doing" for for a student, or it may be the first big step on the road to a life of music, but we want every student to make the most of his or her experience.

Show your student that you support their activities.  Volunteer for an assignment or two, participate in the Fundraisers to the extent that you can (If you bought things from other kids in the past year, don't hesitate to let their families support your students endeavors).   Many hands make light work.

Above all, communicate!  Contact any KCBA officer, ask questions.  You will either help us to identify an opportunity for improvement, or find out that there was a need that went unfilled, and you might be willing to help improve the experience the next time around for everyone.
